Shubhy and Pavas connected through Instagram way back in 2017, but it took a story question from Shubhy to kickstart their conversation. Pavas’s response caught her eye, and suddenly, she couldn’t help but notice how cute he was. Their first real-life encounter at McDonald’s and Adventure Island was like meeting an old friend, and when Pavas fed her ice cream by hand, it was like something out of a rom-com—adorable!
They got to know each other over two months of non-stop chatting suddenly one day Shubhy was at Jagran and told Pavas “I love you” but he didn’t say anything then she said “Mata rani k samne bol rhi hu” he laughed and he said I love you too.
But things got real when Pavas popped the question. Shubhy had to face her strict dad and her grandfather, who wasn’t too keen on love marriages. Unfortunately, before she could muster up the courage to talk to her grandpa, the pandemic hit, and he passed away. It’s a regret she carries, not being able to share their happiness with him.
Thankfully, her mom was super supportive, and after a nerve-wracking meeting, even her dad gave Pavas the green light. Fast forward to October 3, 2022, and they’re celebrating their roka ceremony, followed by a cozy destination wedding in Jaipur in February 2023. The tears flowed freely as Shubhy made her way down the aisle, but seeing Pavas waiting for her made it all worth it.
Now, Shubhy can’t believe her luck. Pavas is not just a husband—he’s a partner who understands her sacrifices and goes above and beyond to keep her smiling.
